Our Support Center team got together for a Summer BBQ at the office
It was a great day for a cookout as the rain held off and more than 60 people, including our newest group of MITs at the office for Leadership Week, got to spend some time together and enjoy some great summer food prepared by our very own Jeff Harman, Mike Archer, and Nathan Scott.
As with any successful event, this was a total team effort. A special thanks of course to the chefs mentioned above, especially Nathan, who was in charge of getting the grills fired up and was on them from start to finish. Kelley Borscha, Juan Garica, Miguel Plascencia and the entire Tastes of Chicago team for providing tables and chairs as well as assisting in our outdoor setup. Mindy Kaplan and Gabriella Streicher for making the grocery trip to ensure we had more than enough food to feed our entire team. John Depersia for his help moving the chairs and grill to where they needed to go. Courtney Martinez and Gabriella for being such gracious hosts and making sure everyone was helped and restocking any items we were running low on. Lastly, Patrick Burnett and team for emptying the coals out of the grill and returning them to the loading dock to be picked up.
Most importantly – a huge thank you to all who came out and joined us! It was a great way to spend a summer afternoon at the office. See some pictures from the event below!
