Schaumburg’s Kindness Rocks Event

Schaumburg’s Kindness Rocks Event was held with the annual Little City Hero Walk

It was the 64th annual Little City Walk, and the second time the Schaumburg team was there to volunteer. The walk is a one-mile trip around Busse Woods that ends with a Lou’s pizza party. The team assisted in setup, registration, raffle ticket sales, and even go to be walking buddies with their friends at Little City. The day featured games, music, and a temporary tattoo station.

“I can’t stress enough how fulfilling it is to work with the Little City family,” Shannon Feld said. “From the volunteers and staff to the residents, they are all the most kind and welcoming group you could ask for. It’s impossible to stop smiling the whole time you are there!”
