Our Park Ridge team took part in a Kindness Rocks event at Feed My Starving Children!
The great group of team members at our Park Ridge store represented our long-standing dedication to serving our community and putting forward our 50+ year Tradition of Generosity by packaging food for hungry children. Here’s what Manager Gloria Smith had to say about the day and her team’s efforts:
“Our Kindness Rocks event was a total success for the Park Ridge Team! The amount of kindness and passion displayed by our team was unmatched. The team was happy and pumped to be there, I’m sure I drove everyone nuts with how loud I was being, but why not? Kindness rocks! Park Ridge really displayed our core values while at the event and showed tenderness towards those in need. As a group, we were able to pack 173 boxes, which will feed a good number of children in need over the next year.”
Thank you to Gloria and the team at Park Ridge for reminding each other and all of us that kindness does in fact rock! We always love to see our amazing people out making an impact in their community and beyond. This shows so much about who we are and what our people are about.
