Our Oak Lawn Team Held a Kindness Rocks Event in Support of Park Lawn’s Blood Drive
The team partnered with Park Lawn, who was sponsoring a local blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Managers and staff from the store volunteered their morning to help sign donors in, and out raffle tickets and personal pizza coupons, and serve pizza to everyone who donated. Thanks to the collective efforts of the groups involved, they were able to donate blood for over 80 people! General Manager Hugo Torres even made a first-time blood donation!
“It was such a great morning for our team to help make such a powerful impact on our community,” manager Mikayla Foertsch said. “We enjoyed getting to see some of our regular customers who made blood donations outside the store!”
Mikayla also shared this about her team’s efforts –
“We are so proud of our FOH team for going above and beyond in our community, not only providing great service but always having a generous helping hand. Even though they feared needles, they still put themselves out there to support those brave enough. It’s rewarding to see that our team truly cares about making a positive impact on our community. They are a true example of our Malnati DNA, and we are extremely proud and lucky to have them on our team!”
