Our October Malnati Rockstars were Jessica and Joey from our Palatine team!
Jessica and Joey were nominated to be Malnati Rockstars after performing some heroic efforts in their store last month.
The two were swift to act in saving the life of a Door Dasher who collapsed in their store. The dasher collapsed in the lobby when he entered the store to pick up an order, and Jessica and Joey (certified fire fighter) moved quickly to provide life-saving medical procedures while they waited on the paramedics to arrive. They were able to get him on his side and protect his head. Though he stopped breathing several times, they continued to get him breathing again by rubbing his chest. They ensured that he didn’t swallow his tongue and that his airway was cleared.
It is because of Jessica and Joey that the driver was able to survive long enough for paramedics to arrive. They are real life superheroes! Certainly, worthy of a double feature Malnati Rockstar.
