This month’s Malnati Rockstar is the entire group of team members who worked the LMCB!
From front of the house to kitchen staff, this amazing event could not have been put on without the tireless effort of our team members. Jaime Solis, who managed the kitchen during the event, would like to recognize the following workers for their contributions: Raul Varela (Oakbrook Terrace), Fabiola Espinosa (Oak Park), Alfredo Garduno (Michigan Avenue), Eusebio Paxtor (Oak Park), Gonzalo Gonzales (Elk Grove), Jose Salazer (Schaumburg-Barrington RD), Carlos Ramirez (Buffalo Grove), and Jose Cruz (Oakbrook Terrace).
“There were so many people who did an outstanding job, it would almost be unfair of me to mention just one,” Solis said of his staff. “They are all just amazing, hard workers. They worked a very long day (8 a.m. – Midnight) and never once stopped until the job was done. I could not have done it without them. I planned all the kitchen related stuff, but they were the ones who got it done.”
Additionally, the front of the house staff played a key roll in making sure each guest had a fun and memorable experience. Lynn Young would like to give a special thanks to: Sandra Perez (Training, Schaumburg-Barrington RD), Rebecca Perez (Training, Michigan Avenue), Mel Nakazawa (Hoffman Estates), Frank Chagoya (River North), Randy High (River North), Mia Lewis (River North), Patricia Grissett (River North), Elsie Platek (Catering), Ally Fischer (Elk Grove), Areydi Borja (Elk Grove), Ashlyn Gutierrez (Midway), Mikayla Foertsch (Oak Lawn), Vinnie Konwent (Buffalo Grove), Dawn Schwab, Ben Burman (Lakewood), Dawn Couchman, Bryan Duran (Lincoln Square), Nick Stewart (Lincolnwood), Emilio Zavala (Oak Park), and Allan Carrington (West Loop).
“They were a great group who helped set tables, provide exceptional guest service, as well as cleared and cleaned up the dining area,” Young said. “Many stayed late, up until closing. We appreciate every one of them for their hard work and caring to make this event a success.”
It’s not often we get to recognize so many outstanding individuals at one time, but each of these team members embodied what it means to be a Malnati Rockstar this month. We are so grateful to have them all on board. Here’s to them!
