In a summer full of music festivals across the Midwest, Lou Malnati’s had the opportunity to feed several musical artists from all different genres.
Beginning at Milwaukee’s Summer Fest in late June, Lou’s provided deep dish pizza for Jimmy Vaughn, Zola Jesus, and Ryan Hurd. The following month, at Rock the Ruins in Indianapolis, Lou’s had the opportunity to feed the Counting Crows. Finally, at the end of July, it came time to supply meals for artists at Chicago’s biggest music festival, Lollapalooza. Several performers were eager to get their hands on the best deep dish pizza Chicago has to offer.
Below is the full list of artists fed at Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park:
- Beach Bunny
- GaTa (Story Photo)
- HorseGirl
- John Summit
- Jordy
- Kaskade
- Machine Gun Kelly
- Tinashe
A big thank you goes out to Beth George, Lindsay Mathwich, Jaime Solis, Jim D’Angelo, Dennis D’Angelo, Randy Klein, Saul Melchor, Mark Valletti, Juan Garcia, Eloy Garcia, Rebecca Perez, and many more Lou’s crew members for helping serve these bands and artists.
Additionally, Lou’s worked with Brian Hodous from Hodie Bash and Rocky from Sheffield’s to serve some deep dish pizza to guests, including Sammy Hagar (Van Halen) & The Circle Band, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, Vic Johnson and crew for a private concert and charity event. Lou’s was a fan favorite! The Hodie Bash 2022: 41st Anniversary Benefitting Lurie Children’s Hospital was held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Metro Chicago with approximately 750 guests. Special thanks to Mike Schrager, Eloy Garcia, Michaella Berg, Ethan Levy and the Lou Malnati’s Lincoln Square managers and team for providing and delivering pizza – very much appreciated!!
