Our Lakewood team took part in a Kindness Rocks Event at Animal House Shelter in Huntley, IL!
During a rare 67-degree, sunny February afternoon, the team got together for a day of volunteering at an animal shelter. Eight team members, including District Manager Eva Andrews and General Manager Dan Wesolowski as well as Employee Engagement Manager Gabriella Streicher and her son, volunteered for two hours.
They had the opportunity walk the dogs that are available for adoption and gave them plenty of love and attention during their time with them.
Organizing manager Jeff Holtz shared this about the event –
“I love dogs. When I had a chance to organize a Kindness Rocks event, I knew the Animal House Shelter was where I’d love for us to volunteer. We have such great team members who get behind our Kindness Rocks events. They make me proud that they care just as much to give back.”
