We are proud to partner with the Salvation Army for our first company-wide Kindness Rocks volunteering event on Friday, February 16th and Saturday, February 17th!

Over the course of these two days, the Salvation Army needs 120 volunteers to assist with the assembly of 4,000 flood clean up kits at their Emergency Disaster Services Warehouse in Elk Grove Village.

We hope you will join us for this event!

Here’s what you need to know:

Where?

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services Warehouse, 1000 Pratt Blvd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.

When?

There are two shifts per day:

  • Friday, February 16th, 8:30am – 11:30am
  • Friday, February 16th, 12:30pm – 4:00pm
  • Saturday, February 17th, 8:30am – 11:30am

Don’t delay! The deadline to sign up for this event is Sunday, February 11th.

What will we be doing?

We will be building 4,000 flood kits, filled with clean up essentials like sponges, sanitizing materials, and mops. This will be done in an assembly line, much like our Thanksgiving Basket Drive.

Additional Information:

Lunch will be served from 11:30am – 12:30pm each day, so those finishing up their shift or arriving early are free to join!

Volunteers can be as young as 14 for this volunteering opportunity as long as they are supervised by a parent, guardian or adult taking responsibility for them.

Let’s rock this event for the Salvation Army!
