It’s officially October, which means it’s time for the return of our Halloween Costume/Decorating Contests!
Whether you’re in one of our stores or our home office, we want to see your creative talents on full display. Halloween is a day to celebrate individualism and expression, and that’s what makes this contest so great year after year. It’s a chance to peel back the curtains just a bit and get a look into just how spirited some of our team members can be. It’s also a chance to compete with or against your coworkers for a chance to earn some bragging rights for the next 365 days. Plus, it’s not often you get to wear a costume to work. So have a little fun with it!
As a reminder, the categories are:
- Best Individual Costume
- Best Dynamic Duo Costume
- Best Team Costume
- Best Decorated Store
Here’s what you’re competing with! Last year’s winners are pictured below for reference. As you can see, a lot of people take this contest pretty seriously. Time to get thinking of how you (and your team) can top these!
Also be sure to submit all fall-related activities (store decorating, pumpkin carving/painting, etc.) to LouHoo!
To take part in the contest, simply do the following:
- On Halloween, sport your best costume and break out the decorations!
- Snap a photo of your festively decorated store, or team/duo/individual costume.
- Submit your photo(s) right here to enter the contest!

Similar to last year, we will let the people decide the winners of each contest. A poll will be posted once all submissions are in. Deadline for submissions will follow. Best of luck to all participants!
