Announcing the winners of our 2025 Big Cheese Award!
One carryout General Manager, one restaurant General Manager, and, for the first time ever, one District Manager were all recognized at our annual Manager Meeting as the winners of the Big Cheese Award for 2025. Their outstanding performance and leadership helped earn them this distinctive honor. Let’s meet the winners –
Carryout: Marco Flores Mazon (Palos Heights)
Marco was a two-time winner throughout the year. His District Manager had this to say about him following his win in P11:
“Marco continues to lead and grow alongside his team, and he’s committed to pushing Palos Heights to improve every period. Impressive results across the board and a two time winner this year, congratulations Marco!”

Restaurant: Dan Wesolowski (Lakewood)
After Dan was named the Big Cheese for P8, his second time doing so in 2025, his DM said this about him:
“Dan has an unwavering dedication to his role and his team. His passion for success is driven by strong core values and competitive nature. He stays focused on his goals and those of his managers. He is #1 YTD on the scorecard and doesn’t plan on easing up. He also leads several Kindness Rocks events with his team and his district.”

District Manager: Eva Andrews
Our inaugural winner for District Managers, here are some of the metrics that made Eva’s district stand out in 2025:
- Net sales growth 3.4%
- Beat budgeted profit 1.6%
- 92% pickup
- 91% FQ
- 0 GM turnover
- 3.7 on the balanced scorecard.
