Join us for the Lou Malnati’s Thanksgiving Basket Drive on Saturday, November 21st!
Packing these Thanksgiving baskets is something I have been doing for more than 40 years, and it has become a tradition that I look forward to every November. This year’s basket drive is going to look a little different, but I am excited to keep the tradition of generosity going, especially during these challenging times. We have received a grateful response from the different ministries who will distribute these food baskets.
This year, we will pack 1,200 food baskets for families in need and we need your help to do it!
In order to properly social distance, we will pack the baskets in two shifts of 35 people, and we will sanitize all surfaces between shifts. Because we have so few spots, unfortunately we have to limit this year’s event to adults only (16 years of age and older). All attendees will have their temperature checked and will answer a Covid-19 questionnaire prior to entering the warehouse. Masks are required.
Here are a few ways you can help:
- Register for a shift (or both shifts) and join us on Saturday, November 21st at our warehouse in Northbrook to assemble the baskets. REGISTER NOW >
- Make a donation to the Thanksgiving Basket Fund by sponsoring a basket for $40. Complete this donation form and turn it in to your manager.
Our group may have to be smaller this year, but our positive impact will be just as great as in years past. I look forward to working together to make this happen on November 21st!
