This month’s Malnati Rockstar is Sirr from our Michigan Avenue (IL) team!
Sirr was nominated by our Field Trainer, Melissa Iwami who is supporting the Michigan Avenue store this summer. Melissa quickly recognized Sirr for his ability to accommodate guests even when things aren’t going to plan. Here’s what she had to say about Sirr, who is a server at the store:
“Last week, we were very busy and on a long wait. We accommodated a table whose reservation was missing. Sirr gave excellent service during the course of the meal and discovered that the couple at his table were celebrating the wife’s last cancer treatment. They had travelled in from Toronto and made the reservation at the start of her treatment knowing they wanted to celebrate the completion. Sirr asked if we could buy their meal and, despite how busy everyone was, managed to give superb service and spend extra time at their table to learn about the special occasion.
This is just one example of many times Sirr has gone above and beyond to make a memorable experience for each of his guests. He is always a team player and always has a smile on his face to go alongside a good attitude, no matter how busy we are.
Sirr is a true embodiment of what it means to be a Malnati Rockstar! Providing hospitality of the highest degree to each of our customers and taking the time to go the extra mile, even during the busiest times, is what our Malnati DNA is rooted in.
