Our Schaumburg team recently took part in a Kindness Rocks event at the Anderson Animal Shelter!
Manager Ella Hjerpe had this to say about the event and the time spent with her team:
“It went really well! We had seven total volunteers from our team. We first received a tour of the facility. They have an area for cats, dogs, and a wildlife area where they rescue birds, squirrels, and many other animals. They take in animals from 14 states, and get calls every day about rescues to retrieve, as they are a no-kill shelter. We helped do some landscaping out front for them for two hours, to make their entrance welcoming to everyone coming to volunteer and to adopt an animal. Such a great experience!”
Hats off the Ella and the Schaumburg crew for taking time out of their morning to remind us that Kindness Rocks! It’s great to see our Tradition of Generosity alive and well amongst our team members.
