This month’s Malnati Rockstar is Justin from Schaumburg!
Justin embodied the phrase “going above and beyond” like we’ve never heard of, and we couldn’t be more proud!
The customer wrote in to tell us about it, he said,
“On Tuesday, August 24th, I ordered a pizza off GrubHub for pickup while I was still at work. I set it up for a 9PM pickup, but quickly realized that I would not be leaving work in time to pick up the pizza. I called the
restaurant and spoke with Justin – several times – to push back the pickup time as much as possible. Due to the thunderstorms, I wasn’t able to leave work until after store closing hours. Justin assured me that he would still be around after the store closed and could hand me the pizza then if I wanted.
Despite my best efforts I was unable to leave work until 11:30 and wasn’t going to make it to the restaurant until midnight. Justin assured me that he would still wait for me to arrive. And he did! When I arrived at midnight, Justin was waiting for me with pizza in hand. And a salad to boot! He knew I had a rough day at work and just wanted to make sure that my experience was as pleasant as possible.
I can’t thank him enough and because of his kindness I will be returning to this location more often!”
