Midway and Cary!
Our Midway restaurant team is led by General Manager Anthony Fazzola, Noel Santoyo and Arnold Capuli. In 2019, they were also joined by Esteban De La Torre. Our Midway Team celebrated excellent overall culture scores in 2019, highlighted by 94% of their team would recommend Lou’s as a place to work. Additionally, the team developed five Managers-In-Training: Daniel Velazquez, Jazmyn Pereyra, Angel Siva, Anna Diaz and Tony Little; two kitchen team members into Kitchen Supervisors: Elias Medina and Eduardo Martinez; Andrew Tovar became a #2 Kitchen Supervisor; and Anthony Guzman was developed into an Apprentice.
Our Cary carryout team is led by General Manager Manuel Valencia and Stephanie Marron. Robert Kuczmar was also a part of this team in 2019. Our Cary team is committed to making their store a great place to work where their staff feels cared for and invested in. A quote from a Cary team member sums up the culture in that store: “I love Lou Malnati’s, best job ever! My managers are the best people out of the whole store!!! They help me be the best I can be and they believe in me.”
Today, we are recognizing these stores and their managers for winning the 2019 Jean Malnati Miller Award, but we also recognize ALL of our managers for their hard work, dedication, care, and love for our people and our company. We see examples of Jean’s spirit in how they serve each other, their teams, and their customers each and every day!
