Our Kindness Rocks Award is earned by the store that best exemplifies our tradition of generosity and serving communities in which we live and work. Our Kindness Rocks program honors the heartfelt giving and tradition of generosity that Lou and Jean Malnati established in 1971. Since then our tradition has flourished and grown to include many ways we give back to our communities including our Store Team Volunteer opportunities; our annual Thanksgiving Food Basket event; our annual Cancer Research Benefit; fundraising events; and Grass Roots Marketing events. Through these programs, our teams are living our tradition of generosity while doing good in our world – something for us to really be proud of.
