This month’s Malnati Rockstar is Emilia from Lake Zurich!
Emilia went above and beyond to help a customer rescue a kitten that was underneath a car in the pouring rain. She was drenched head to toe but didn’t think twice when she heard of the situation. She exemplifies the Malnati values and is always there to lend a hand not only to her fellow peers but to guests as well. The guest Emilia was helping wrote a thank you not and included an update on the kitten they rescued.
“Last Thursday I did not get the names of the people who helped me save the kitten from underneath the cars parked in front of the restaurant but I wanted to say THANK YOU for your time, patience and the box to help me catch the little guy.
He has been to the vet, and though underweight at only 1.15 pounds, is overall a healthy 5-6 week old and now has all the right care. He is one of the sweetest animals I have met. He is extremely happy to be with people, get attention and play. He has already been re-homed to a wonderful new family and is doing so well and is getting along great with his new “sister” kitty. They are considering naming him Lou since a pizza pick-up and the wonderful people there helped save his life! THANK YOU for caring enough to help.”
