A Helping Hand in Midway

It’s always great to hear about our stores helping both each other and their communities. Read on for a heart-warming story!

Gold Coast Manager, Brenda Corro, lives in Gage Park, and recently helped out at a community event in the area. She reached out to our Midway Team for help putting together a pizza donation for the event.

Here’s Brenda to tell the rest:

I live in the Gage Park area which is the Southwest side area of Chicago. It’s a 15 minute drive to the Midway location from where I live.

I recently reached out to Anthony and his management team about donating some pizzas to this community event at my local library. Anthony has been nothing more but supportive and was on board the minute I reached out to him and told him about the event.

He made sure it got there on time. Not only was the pizza gone but we had a lot of first time families that got to try our pizza. It was a hit.

I just wanted to give Anthony a shout out for being a great soul when it comes to helping me out. It’s great how supportive our Lou Malnati’s family is no matter what location you belong to. Secondly Estaban contacted myself the night before to make sure the order was correct and to verify details about delivery.

Our library recently transferred their children’s librarian to another library. This library has very limited resources so to have the Midway team be a part of a community gathering is truly amazing.
