On Wednesday, February 7th, a crew from Lincoln Square volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository to pack food for those less fortunate.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is an amazing organization that serves more than 812,000 Cook County residents annually. The team portioned over 7,000 pounds of black beans to be distributed to various shelters and food assistance programs.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is a cause close to GM Laura Darlington’s heart. She says,
“We chose this organization because they have done great work for the underprivileged and malnourished children that my wife has treated at Comer Children’s hospital.”
Woohoo! LS Rocks! We had so much fun!
