Naperville and South Elgin!
Our Naperville Team is led by Veronica Solis, Kevin Boyer, David Sanchez, John Rogozinski, Kurt Kenworthy, and DM Kim Swanson. In 2017, they were also joined by Matt Stamm, Miguel Solis, Alex Horton, and John Zackey.
In 2017, our Naperville Team developed seven team members to become managers! Those managers are:

- Kurt Kenworthy
- Sam Henley
- Taylor Lawrence
- David Sanchez
- Stacey Pelton
- Brian Wunschel
Additionally, our Naperville managers organized team building events like the Buttercrust Classic kickball tournament, Server Olympics, spirit weeks for the whole team, and let’s not forget their winning Game of Thrones team Halloween costume! Events like these really lay the foundation for a strong family culture in their store.
Our South Elgin Team is led by Felipe Barrera, Alex Hill, and DM Randy Klein. Dan Barkley was also part of this team in 2017 before moving on to open Carpentersville.
Our Elgin Team has created a strong emphasis on our core values of growth and teamwork (among others) in their store. They are always developing the next key employee and cross-training people, which both helps the store to run more efficiently, and creates growth opportunities for their people.
Felipe and his team also make an effort to appreciate their people, whether it’s bringing in food on holidays, or taking the team out to lunch after they open early for a catering order.
Today, we are recognizing these stores and their managers for winning the 2017 Jean Malnati Miller Award, but we also recognize ALL of our managers for their hard work, dedication, care, and love for our people and our company. We see examples of Jean’s spirit in how they serve each other, their teams, and their customers each and every day!
