Our Midway Team Held a Kindness Rocks Event at Ronald McDonald House
The Midway team came together for the event at the Ronald McDonald House in Oaklawn to cook lunch for the families staying there. They made meatball subs, pasta salad, cut up fresh fruits and got cookies for dessert! Lou’s managers, Natalie (Palos Heights) and Hugo (Oak Lawn) volunteered with the Midway crew as well, turning this into a multi-store kindness rocks event! The group was given a tour of the house and learned that Ronald McDonald houses save families 9.6 million annually in out-of-pocket lodging, meals and expenses!
District Manager Tony Little said this about the event –
“The team from MY, OL, and PH had a blast at the Ronald McDonald House – Advocate Children event! Everyone was beaming with pride and joy, and it was great to see the team come together to support such a wonderful cause.”
