Our Lakewood Team Visited an Animal Shelter for a Kindness Rocks Event
It was their third volunteer trip to Animal House Shelter in Huntley, and 11 team members came out for another great day of giving back. They surprised the amazing shelter staff with lunch from Lou’s before spending time walking dogs and helping out around the shelter.
Manager Jeff Holtz said this about the event –
“Volunteer days like these are a great way to connect as a team while supporting an organization that does so much for animals in our community.”
PHC Jenna Haymes added –
“One of my favorite things about working at Lou’s is getting the chance to give back to a cause that’s close to my heart. It’s awesome to work for a company that encourages us to make a difference while spending time together as a team.”
To date, Lakewood has raised nearly $1,000 for the shelter, which helps provide care and medical attention to animals in need.
They can’t wait for their next visit!
