Our Phoenix Team hosted a “Pizza By Me” event with local high school, Metro Tech, and their amazing students involved in the S.T.A.R.T. Program.
At Metro Tech, the S.T.A.R.T. Program allows the students to run breakfast in the cafeteria every day at their school, with teacher supervision, from start to finish, from laundry to dishes and everything in between.
The kids had a blast making their own pizzas and they also got a detailed tour of our kitchen to see how we operate compared to how they run their cafeteria. They were pretty jealous that we send out our aprons and shirts to get cleaned and don’t have to wash them ourselves like they do at school!
