South Loop Restaurant Expansion

Our South Loop Store Has Officially Opened its New Full-Service Bar, Private Events Space and Expanded Dining Room

The restaurant has expanded by approximately 2,400 square feet, bringing the location to nearly 8,400+ square feet overall. The expansion was completed while the restaurant continued regular operations.

The updated space includes a new full‑service bar, additional dining room seating, and a private events space that can accommodate up to 50 guests. The new additions create greater flexibility for group gatherings, celebrations and special occasions, while complementing the existing dine‑in experience. The South Loop location continues to offer dine‑in, carryout and delivery.

“These additions allow us to better serve the South Loop neighborhood with more ways to enjoy Lou’s,” Julie Younglove‑Webb said. “We’re excited to introduce these updates while staying true to the traditions and hospitality we’ve upheld for more than five decades.”

The South Loop enhancements reflect Lou’s 50+ year commitment to quality ingredients, handmade deep dish pizza, and genuine hospitality while creating a more versatile dining experience for guests.
