Several of our Teams Recently Came Together for a Kindness Rocks Event
Members of our Buffalo Grove, Rockford, Palatine, Carpentersville, and Lakewood teams volunteered in support of Something to Talk About: Midway Magic, an event held by Senior Care Volunteer Network.
In support of the group’s vision, Lou’s volunteers pitched in at their annual gala that raises money for the Senior Care Network. They helped in set up, take down, and some even helped run games and give out prizes to the gala’s attendees.
Lakewood General Manager, Dan Wesolowski said this –
“I was looking to give back to that side of the community. This will hopefully be the start of a long relationship with them that will be great for both sides. It was great to give back to a network that means so much to the community.”
Additionally, the team at Senior Care Network reached out to say this after the event –
“I just want to say thank you—truly and profusely—for the incredible volunteer support Lou Malnati’s Pizza provided for Something to Talk About: Midway Magic. Your team went above and beyond, and we honestly could not have completed setup and teardown in the record time it was achieved without their help.
Please pass along our deepest appreciation to everyone who volunteered. Their positive energy, willingness to jump in wherever needed, and can-do attitudes made a huge difference and helped ensure the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
