Our Schaumburg team took part in a Kindness Rocks event at Feed My Starving Children!
The event was a big success, with 15 volunteers taking part. It was the store’s best turnout for an event in a few years! Manager Ella Hjerpe shared this about the organization and her team’s efforts:
“Feed My Starving Children is such a great organization that we’ve worked with before and is a big part of the Schaumburg community. We were all able to pack food together and had a blast celebrating each box filled with food. We spent an hour and a half volunteering at the facility. Together, the entire warehouse made 115 boxes – the equivalent of 24,840 meals! We are very happy our store got to participate in this to make a difference, and of course happy to spend some time together outside of work! We can’t wait to see where we go next for Kindness Rocks.”
Great work by the team at Schaumburg in planning such an impactful event! It’s awesome to see so many team members volunteer their time and it’s clear they helped make a difference.
