Our January 2026 Malnati Rockstars are Jonathon and Erik from our Fox Point (WI) team!
Jonathon and Erik, who are brothers, were nominated by former Fox Point and current Brookfield manager, Jim Livesey, who offered some kind words about what makes them both so deserving of this recognition. Here’s what Jim had to say –
“I am incredibly proud to have worked with Jonathon and Erik at Fox Point. These brothers definitely have the Malnati DNA – both hardworking with a bonus! They also both espouse THE GIFT – shining in teamwork, excellence, and integrity. I would often close the Fox Point location and we ran a tight schedule, which means when they store accelerates in sales, we need team members to stay longer at a moment’s notice and carry a heavier workload. In my time as a manager, Jonathon and Erik never declined to help out, they ALWAYS say “yes.” As a manager, it was comforting to know that we had staff that are invested in our success. Thanks to their “can do” approach to work, we managed to increase our food quality scores, while also getting store sales up.
Overall, I attribute this success to the entire team, but I wanted to shine a spotlight on Jon and Erik as leaders who guide the kitchen team during the all-important night shifts. They even taught me a little Spanish, which I truly appreciate. The brothers also have a kind demeanor, a great sense of humor, and incredible work ethic! I congratulate Blanca (Alvarez) on hiring and training such quality team leaders!
Jon and Erik are Malnati Rockstars for always going the distance focused on teamwork, leading with Malnati pride, for being in service to others, for creating pizza joy for every guest, and making the best deep dish pizza in southeast Wisconsin. I appreciate their contributions and hard work. They are such valuable members of the Wisconsin market and Lou’s as a whole. A big thank you and keep going strong!”
There’s not much left to say about Jonathon and Erik that hasn’t already been said. Congratulations to them both on this well-deserved recognition. Thank you for all you bring to our store and our company!
