Our June Malnati Rockstars are Cesar and Roberto from our South Loop store!
Cesar and Roberto were nominated by their Manager Joann Morales, who wanted to recognize the two outstanding individuals for their work ethic, dedication, and positive attitude that makes them invaluable members of their South Loop team. Here’s what she had to say about her team members:
“Cesar and Roberto are both incredibly hardworking. They consistently go above and beyond in everything they do! No matter the situation, they show up ready to contribute, and their reliability is second to none.
What truly sets them apart is their willingness to help others. Whether it’s offering to help a guest, stepping in to assist when a teammate in another department is overwhelmed, or simply being available with a positive attitude, Cesar and Roberto embody the spirit of teamwork. They don’t hesitate to put the needs of the team ahead of their own, and their collaborative approach creates a supportive and positive work environment.
It’s been a pleasure working with both of them. Their professionalism, kindness, and strong sense of responsibility make them a real asset to our restaurant.”

Perhaps the most significant fact is that Cesar and Roberto are cousins! Yet another example of family members teaming up at Malnati’s and how our workplace is a place where our people want to recruit their relatives to work alongside them.
