On September 14th, we hosted our 49th Annual Lou Malnati’s Cancer Research Benefit and raised over $350,000!
This year’s theme took us back to a 50’s Sock Hop and everyone came ready to shake, rattle and roll! All the pink ladies, greasers and cool cats had a blast at the pre-party with a vintage car and plenty to eat and drink. The party continued inside with a rockin’ band and a live and silent auction.
Proceeds from the benefit will fund cancer research and education programs at The Northwestern Medicine Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and Gilda’s Club of Chicago.
Leading up to the night of the event, our stores worked hard to sell donation circles to our customers. Shout out to our Wilmette team for collecting over $2,000 in donation circles!
Thank you for working so hard to help make the 49th Annual Lou Malnati’s Cancer Research Benefit a success.
